Anchor Marina is home to the some of the finest fishing in the world. Fisherman routinely catch their limit right off our docks. Largemouth Bass spawn in the shallow waters surrounding our harbor. Giant Stripers are caught year round. Blue, Channel, and Flathead catfish are plentiful. Some of the best Bluegill fishing in California is often found on Taylor Slough and buckets full of hand size Bluegill are the norm, rather than the exception. Warming temperatures are brightening the spirits of of avid fisherman. Sturgeon are being caught at Franks Track with grass shrimp. Stripers returning in the sloughs. Trolling crank baits best bet.the sturgeon are biting along the Sacremento river now that it is April, and the pic`s prove it. the story is they are jumping in the boat if you use grass shrimp. try cash slough if you want the big one`s. good luck
